At WADHI, We

Provide assistance to vulnerable groups particularly poor women.

Provide financial assistance/awareness to vulnerable groups particularly poor women (financial inclusion).

Design and organise platforms for vocational skills acquisition for rural and peri-urban women to equip them in combating cyclical poverty (capacity building supportive IT tools and development skills).

Act as a platform to foster women participation in sustainable development and governance (Mobilize rural savings and credit schemes, expand social security for informal workers and expand market access for women in production).

Sensitize women on civil and political matters and galvanize them for effective participation in political activities.

Create awareness about the plight of women who have become victims of domestic, cultural and social oppression.

Our Vision

To build the confidence and increase financial knowledge of women in semi-urban and Peri-urban underserved communities through human development, empowerment, community development and ensuring environmental safety through sustainable development so as to attain the SDGS in the area of achieving financial skill management, education, combating HIV/AIDS, malaria etc. Also in eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, promoting gender equality and employment as well as the eradication of child mortality.

Our Mission

WADHI seek to strengthen the capacities of different categories of the poor, particularly women, to expand their livelihoods and tap into economic growth opportunities in order to positively impact on their families and societies.
