About WADHI
We Have the power to impact the lives of rural and peri-urban women MSMEs, and we’re doing something about it
The Women Arise Development and Humanitarian Initiative (WADHI) is a humanitarian not-for-profit organization committed to finding customized solutions to inequalities and social exclusion particularly, women’s continued exclusion from financial markets. It has been established to help provide appropriate platforms and management systems that support, harness and expand development opportunities that enable beneficiaries to progressively grow their entrepreneurial capacities and economic standing in the society. WADHI is the inventor of the “KOWGO” Mobile Application, an innovative tool that promotes financial inclusion for formal and informal Micro, Small and Medium-scale entrepreneurs at the bottom of the market pyramid in different sectors and value chains.

Our Top Priorities
WOMEN'S FINANCIAL AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT VIA DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
Women’s financial empowerment is important, not only because it offers a route out of poverty, but also because it addresses problems of inequality, exclusion and disempowerment. Providing access to financial services when accompanied by business training, increases women’s decision-making power in the household, improves their socio-economic status and that of their families and stimulates economic growth in the community.
ENDING GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
Gender-based violence is a problem for everyone, not just its victims. Your support in kind and in substance will go a long way to help our rural education programmes on GBV. Let’s join forces to bring an end to Violence Against Women and Children
MARKET ACCESS PROGRAMMES

GENDER INVESTMENT
WADHI’s interest in promoting Gender Investments stems from her quest to contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 5, 9 & 10 with a specific focus on Goal Five (5)
